Does a recent report mean trading is enabled?

A report confirms communication. Orders still depend on permissions, licence access, market conditions and the selected EA settings.

Can unlinking free an account slot?

Paid allocations remain permanent. Reconnecting the same broker server and account reuses its existing allocation.
