1. Choose and install your EA
Open EA Library and choose an available MT5 .ex5 release included in your licence. In MT5, select File → Open Data Folder, then MQL5 → Experts. Copy the file there. Return to Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors and choose Refresh.
2. Allow the Gold EA connection
Open Tools → Options → Expert Advisors. Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://api.goldea.ai exactly as shown. Press OK. Keep the other security options as they are unless the verified guide instructs otherwise.
3. Check your account before attaching
Check the broker server and MT5 account number. Paid account allocations are permanent: unlinking will not free a slot. Open the broker’s gold chart using the symbol and timeframe specified for your selected EA. Drag the EA from Navigator → Expert Advisors onto its own chart.
4. Enter your licence and review settings
Open Inputs and paste your own licence key. Vision uses LicenseKey, sometimes shown as License key from dashboard. Keep it private. Review your trade size, trading hours and available controls in the dashboard and MT5 before enabling orders.
5. Enable Algo Trading
When you have reviewed the setup, open Common and tick Allow Algo Trading, then press OK. Enable Algo Trading on the terminal toolbar as well. Both permissions are needed. Keep your desktop terminal or VPS running and connected when the EA needs to operate.
6. Check the first report
Open View → Toolbox → Experts to inspect licence, permission and connection messages. In your dashboard, open Connection doctor and check a recent report from the exact broker account and EA. Communication alone does not confirm that orders can or will be placed.
