Permanent MT5 slots: choose the account before activation

An account slot is a permanent assignment

Accounts connected during preview become permanent when payment succeeds. On paid access, each new broker server and MT5 account uses another permanent slot. The slot is an account assignment, not a rotating allowance. Unlinking does not free it; reconnecting the same server and account reuses its allocation.

This matters most during your first setup. It is easy to open the last account MT5 used, attach an EA and only then notice that you selected the wrong account. Take the time to confirm the account before activation, even if you have installed EAs before.

Check three details before you activate

Confirm the MT5 account number, broker server and whether you intended to use that particular demo or live account. MT5's account login uses an account number and a server, so a familiar broker name alone is not enough to identify the account you meant to open.

Compare the details with your broker's account information and your own record of the accounts you plan to use with Gold EA. If a broker has issued a replacement account or changed a server, ask support how that change applies to your licence before activating again. Do not assume a new login is covered by an old assignment.

What unlinking changes—and what it does not

Unlinking an account does not return a permanent slot to your available allowance. Neither does removing an EA from a chart, closing the terminal or deciding to stop using that account. Keep this distinction in mind when tidying up your dashboard: removing a connection is not a licence transfer.

For example, a Pro licence includes three permanent MT5 slots. If you activate accounts A, B and C, all three slots are assigned. Later unlinking account B does not create room for account D. A fourth account requires another permanent slot. This is an illustration of the policy, not a customer account example.

Match the allowance to your intended accounts

Starter costs €444 for a lifetime licence, with one EA of your choice and one permanent MT5 account slot. Pro costs €888, with two Gold EAs, one bonus EA and three permanent slots. Elite costs €1111, with all three Gold EAs and ten permanent slots.

Count the distinct accounts you intend to activate, rather than the number of charts you expect to open. Also check which EAs your plan includes. Product access and account capacity answer different questions; an extra account slot does not add an EA to your product library.

Adding an account has a separate cost

Each additional permanent MT5 account slot costs $50 USD as a separate one-time purchase. Plan prices are listed in euros and this add-on is listed in US dollars, so review the currency and final amount shown at checkout rather than making your own conversion assumption.

Keep a simple activation record

Keep a private list of the account number, broker server and the date you activated each account. You can use a masked account number in ordinary notes or support screenshots. Never add your trading password or full licence key to a public document.

If you are uncertain which account already holds a slot, ask support to confirm the assignment before trying another activation. A short account check is easier to resolve than an unwanted permanent assignment. The rule to remember is simple: choose the account first, then activate.
